Kit includes

1 x 9" wooden embroidery hoop
1 x piece of linen mix fabric (natural coloured) approx 34 x 34 cm
1 x embroidery needle
1 x sheet of carbon paper
selection of embroidery threads
1 x pattern outline, colour pattern and instructions

You will also need (not included)

Scissors, masking tape or cellotape and preferably a permanent fine liner pen

Getting the design onto the fabric

With this kit you transfer the pattern onto the fabric yourself with the use of carbon paper. It is an easy and satisfying process!

Stitches

This kit uses 3 embroidery stitches; satin stitch, chain stitch and French knots. Instructions for these stitches are given in the kit.
The stitches are made with 3 stands of the embroidery thread. The thread comes in lengths that are made up of 6 strands, therefore you need to divide the thread up into 2 lots of 3 strands. They divide easily :)
